Top issues during term (5)
special election scheduling
Taxpayers will foot the election-administration bill—ballots, poll workers, and early-voting logistics—so the cost is real even if it's routine.
mayoral 100 days report
No specific spending or budget changes are detailed here, so the direct financial impact is unclear—it’s mainly an informational report.
mayor removal from office
There’s no dollar figure in the report, but leadership turnover can mean extra costs for interim administration, legal process, and delayed city business.
guaranteed-income pilot program
The county will spend public money on the pilot, while qualifying residents get cash they can use however they need.
noncitizen voting rights in local elections
The budget impact is likely small—mostly election administration and outreach costs—not a big tax hit.
